The terms "Customer", "Candidate" and "Hosted Services" are used throughout this document and are defined inline with the terms and conditions, the term "Users" included Customers, Candidates and visitors to roundedpeople.com who do not have a registered account.

The term "Data" includes names, email addresses and any other information as outlined below. The Data collected depends on how our Services are used and also whether the visitor is a Customer or Candidate. Collecting data in different ways helps to keep services safe to use and assists in the identification of issues if queries arise regarding accounts with us.

Information provided by the Customer/Candidate - Primarily relating to information provided upon signing up to our services, all information provided may be stored in order to identify you/your account. This includes, but is not limited to; Company information and Personal contact details such as name, email, phone numbers etc.. Where emails are sent by us on behalf of the customer, email addresses will have been provided by the Customer and the Customer should ensure the relevant permissions have been obtained for this information to be shared. If credits are purchased,payment information (i.e. your PayPal details) will be stored. This will be used to track the status of your payments.

Information we collect - We store technical information, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses and login information, browser type and version, time zone setting etc. in order to make the service a better experience. We may also use cookies to store information about your current session.

Other information - We may also store information provided to us by third parties including Candidates. We will also store candidate information such as test scores and IP address in order to provide this to you as part of our services and to assist in ensuring that the assessment has not been tampered with.

Users have the right to access data which is stored about them. All requests should be communicated through our contact page. Access requests may be subject to an administrative fee of £10.

2. Uses of data

The data we collect from you, as described above, is used by our website Administrators in order to enhance the user experience, however some data (such as company name) is provided to candidates when completing assessments. Similarly, candidate information provided in the assessments is provided to the registered user. We may share your information with selected third parties such as:

  • • search engine providers in or to optimise roundedpeople.com;
  • • in such situations where business assets are sold; or
  • • in order to comply with any legal obligation.

Some examples of how data is used by our administrators include but are not limited to:

  • • To verify an identity when providing customer support;
  • • To process a payment, communicate regarding a payment, and provide related customer service;
  • • To provide updated / advertising regarding goods and services which may be of interest to the user;
  • • To improve or modify our services and/or develop new products; and
  • • To aggregate data and provide comparisons of Candidate performance across customer accounts.

3. Storage of data

We employ strict security procedures to ensure that the data we have collected is stored safely on our web servers. Our web services may be located outside of the United Kingdom. We never store plain text passwords nor do we make your information publicly available. We encrypt some personal data we store to make sure not even our administrators can identify the plain text being stored (e.g. passwords). It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of this password, we will never ask for you to share this with us. We use make every effort to protect and Data stored on behalf of users however. Unfortunately, it is not possible for a data transmission or storage system to be 100% guaranteed secure. If you feel that the security of your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

We continuously check and maintain our security procedures for best practise. Data is retained in order to satisfy the needs of the services provided to users unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Accordingly some residual data may be retained upon closure of an account.

We do not allow under 18's to use our services; this is against our terms of use and hence prohibited.
